Every Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) should be an active member of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA). Through this membership, OFWs can avail of loans, acquire scholarship from TESDA, and avail of livelihood and entrepreneurship seminars and other reintegration programs upon their return to the Philippines.
OFW's can remain as an active member of OWWA by paying their membership fee of $25 or around P1,300 pesos per two years.
This membership fee can be paid by the OFW itself during his vacation in the country or through the OWWA mobile app if he's in abroad working.
But aside from this, don't you know that as an OFW, your family back home can pay your OWWA membership in the nearest OWWA Office in your area?
